Here at theoriginalGodbox.com, we believe that housing your walk with God builds faith, and creates great hope, both for yourself and for the generations that follow. Our beautifully crafted artisan boxes are made of 100% heavy Mango wood with metal accents and an engraved plaque which simply reads "The God Box".

Our founder, Claire Tingen, discovered this concept as a way of releasing things that were too big for her to handle on her own. Her journey began in a humble shoe box, on which she carefully wrote the letters G-O-D on the lid.

Her God Box held:
• Accounts of broken relationships that needed mending.
• A wish for God's perfect mate.
• Confessions for which she needed the peace of forgiveness.
• Fears she knew she must overcome in order to move on.
• People she found hard to love.
• Relationships she'd lost due to her own bad choices
​• Habits she needed God's help to break.

In her God Box is a roll of silver dollars stolen from her by an old college neighbor and then returned 12 years later by the same person asking for forgiveness.
Lost they we're forgotten, found they have become a symbol of forgiveness, a value beyond measure.
This box has become a host of treasures she revisits as a reminder that God is with her always. A collection of trials that give her the courage to face new challenges, and a source of hope for herself and for many friends.
Most of all, there in her God Box lies the evidence of God over the years that she can pass on to her children and to others in need.
